Euless festival attracting stars

    Arbor Daze 2002 boasts performances by the Righteous Brothers, Chubby Checker and KC and the Sunshine Band.

   The award-winning three-day Euless festival will be Friday-Sunday, April 26-28, at Bear Creek Parkway and Midway Drive.

   Attractions include a business exposition, a carnival, arts and crafts and children’s areas.

   Arbor Daze was founded on the belief of the National Arbor Day Foundation that “trees are a source of joy and spiritual renewal.”

   Admission is free, but parking is $5. Hours are noon-midnight Friday, 10 a.m.-midnight Saturday and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday.
