Coca-Cola offers money to leaders

TCC financial aid offices are accepting applications through Tuesday, April 30, for the third annual Coca Cola Two-Year Colleges Scholarship.

NW Campus set its deadline for Friday, April 19.

A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to 400 students around the country who have shown signs of leadership and a commitment to community service.

Each campus will recommend two students who show academic distinction and leadership. Students recipients will be notified in July.

Three TCC students—Rebecca Loher, Betsy Page and Amy Smith—received the scholarships for the 2001-2002 academic year.
Students who apply must plan to continue their education at a two-year, degree-granting school. They must also have a GPA of at least a 2.5 and have at least 100 hours of community service in the last year.

Applicants must enroll in at least two courses next term at a two-year school, be a U.S. citizen and not be the child of a Coca-Cola employee.
