Plot missing teeth as Crocodile Hunter collides with spies
by Nick Nance, managing editor
Australian adventurer Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter) has taken on the big screen in Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course.
Irwins new movie pits him against undercover American special agents.
These agents target Irwin because they believe he has a top-secret satellite beacon.
Both sides are unaware that a hungry crocodile has actually swallowed the beacon.
Irwin is sent to rescue the crocodile from a gun-toting landowner who continues to lose cows because of the crocodiles appetite.
Irwin places himself in harms way yet again to rescue the crocodile from sure death. The feisty crocodile takes Irwin on in an intense battle of man vs. nature.
While relocating the animal, Irwin is confronted by the special agents but is under the impression they are aggressive poachers doing everything they can to get the crocodile.
Irwin is unaware of their identity and their purpose.
He believes they are poachers while they believe he is actually an undercover spy of some sort.
Still, neither is aware the crocodile has swallowed the beacon. Irwin engages in death-defying car chases, gets shot at and avoids being bitten by bird-eating spiders.
Irwins over-the-top enthusiasm in Croco-dile Hunter: Collision Course is comparable to that of his hit TV show, which is seen locally on cable.
Irwin does a tremendous job capturing audience attention with near-miss bites and incredible antics that are unmatched.
The plot, however, is another story. Crocodile Hunter: Collision Course has a dry and unrealistic story lineone that even the basic film goer will miss. Even children who see this one will wonder about the point.
Nevertheless, the movie is very entertaining and will make moviegoers squirm in their seats.
Irwin can handle death rolls with hungry crocs, bird-eating spiders and venomous snakes without being bitten.
So, these special agents dont have a chance.
This film is entertainment that will make viewers laugh and squirm simultaneously. Those without cable can now see what their friends have been talking about.
