Student seminar to focus on skills in communication
Students can learn more about themselves and the way they communicate during an interactive communication and motivation workshop Thursday, Oct. 31.
One in a series of Success Workshops the NE counseling center is offering to students and faculty, the session will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. in CAB 112 on NE Campus.
In the workshop Sonja Butler, academic advisor, will offer suggestions on how to improve communication skills that can, in return, build motivation.
Anyone can benefit from this workshop, Butler said.
Butler said she will show students how to look at different aspects of communication, including communicating with oneself.
All of these points tie into a single question that this workshop attempts to answer: who am I? she said.
