Darwin’s theory circles intelligent reasoning
by KC Jones, reporter

The theory of evolution is laughable even though many men I know act like they are descendants of monkeys. But women are the same species, and I have been called canis familiaris, female of course.

I find it amazing how many people blindly believe a theory that by definition is not fact but is a recently developed concept. It takes a peculiar faith to believe human beings, complex creatures, once existed as one-cell amoebas, rather than believe humans came into being fully formed. To be even more absurd, non-life supposedly became alive as a result of billions of years of random atomic collisions.

Michael Behe addressed this conjecture in Darwin’s Black Box.

“There is no publication in the scientific literature, in prestigious journals, specialty journals or books, that describes how molecular evolution of any real, complex, biochemical system either did occur or even might have occurred. There are assertions that such evolution occurred, but absolutely none are supported by pertinent experiments or calculations,” he said.

Charles Darwin, who studied wildlife while on a voyage, concocted evolution. He theorized that the different animals he saw got that way because, given enough time, these animals changed to the point that they became different.

Scientists call the concept of developing new life forms from existing but different ones macroevolution.

Different varieties of species are called microevolution. After a series of microevolutionary changes, a frog may be larger or changed in color, but it is still a frog, not a fish or a bird.

Evolutionists cling to fossils for proof. They claim fossils took a long time to form, but common observation shows that dead animals don’t lie around untouched, turning to stone. In 1976, the complete fossil skeleton of a baleen whale was uncovered in Lompoc, Calif., crossing many geological layers, apparently millions of years of strata.

Are we to believe this whale died and remained partly buried for     millions of years until it became completely buried and fossilized?

In reality, many findings are not consistent with the theory of evolution. Large groups of fossils containing a wide variety of animal remains are often found together.

Also, many animals suddenly appear at the start of the Cambrian Period, even though there are only multicellular fossils in earlier rock layers. Then, there are living fossils, such as the coelacanth, that have not changed in form for millions of years.

Many people don’t realize the age assigned rock layers is determined by the fossils they contain. For example, when a specific reference fossil or index fossil is found, the scientist assumes, based on the phylogenetic tree from the evolution theory, the index fossils are from a specific time period.

Finding one of the oldest index fossils in a layer identifies that layer as the oldest.

But suggesting a hypothetical age for a fossil and then telling everyone it is an established fact is not applying the scientific method.

When I asked a paleontologist about fossils, I was assured that the techniques are scientific and the fossil’s age was determined using the date of the rock layer in which it was found. But, scientists assign a date to a fossil, then give the same date to the layer of earth containing the fossil.

Then, they turn around and say they know the age of the fossil because they knew the date of that layer of earth.

Such a process is called circular reasoning.

Now I am so dizzy just thinking about evolution, I would crawl back in my shell if I still had one.
