Dramatists off for road shows
Having recently finished productions on their campuses, drama students are taking their shows on the road.
NE, South and SE campuses have entered the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival.
Along with play performances and critiques, the festival includes several workshops, such as Acting for the Camera, Special Effects, Makeup Design and Application.
SE Campus presented The Masque of Beauty and the Beast last weekend at the KCACTF at Texas A&M-Commerce.
NE and South campuses will attend KCACTF at Collin County Community College in Plano this week.
NE Campus drama students are scheduled to perform Medea Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m.
The South Campus department will perform Enemy of the People Saturday, Oct. 26, at 10 a.m.
The festival concludes with an awards ceremony Saturday night.
