Career center plans employee seminars

    The South Campus career center will show students how to secure jobs in How to Negotiate a Job Offer, presented by Patrina Harps of FedEx Thursday, Feb. 28, 11 a.m.-12:20 p.m. in the SUB Living Room.

   Two seminars will be March 5.

   Women in New Roles (WIN-R) is holding the first seminar, In Honor of Women’s History Month presented by Dr. Miriam Harris, associate professor of English.

   Harris will speak about a book she edited. The seminar will be 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. in the SUB Living Room.

   Flo Stanton, coordinator of health services, will present Positive Self-Talk at 12:30 p.m. in the SUB Living Room.

   Counseling and student activities will sponsor Setting Goals and Making the Right Decision by Sharon Crear, director of STARS program, and Dennis Lee, academic advisor, Wednesday, March 6, 11 a.m.-12:20 p.m. in SUB Texas Room.
