Campuses announce fall shows

    All four TCC theater departments have announced their second fall shows.

    SE Campus has cast The Robber Bridegroom for Wednesday Saturday, Nov. 28-Dec. 1, at 8 p.m. with a 2 p.m. show Dec. 1.

    The cast is as follows: Travis Head as Jamie Lockhart; John Davis as Clemment Musgrove; Deborah Pickett as Salome; Carrie Rush as Rosamund; Dru Rivera as Little Harp; Adam Dietrich as Big Harp; Jason Hernandez as Goal; Genevieve Croft as Goal’s Mother; Zoe Pardee as Airie; Kara Wilhelm as Raven. The residents of Rodney are A.J. Adams, Darrell Sandah and Julie Gaither.

    The NE Campus is also working on its production of A Christmas Carol.

    Directed by Doug Davidson, the show is a more modern take on the Dickens classic.

    It takes place in 1936 with a traveling theatre troupe having to put on a show after losing all their props, costumes and equipment. The classic characters are transposed onto modern counterparts.

    Raquel Bell is the Stage Manager/Scrooge; Joshua Colson is the Director/Bob Marley; Ember Harris is the Prop Boy/Tiny Tim; Adam Dapkus is The Old Clown/Fezziwig. and James Fryar is the Leading Man.

    Eric Cherry and Jennifer Dodd are Clowns; Stephen Levall is the Young Leading Man; Tonya Stapleton is the Leading Woman/Ghost of Christmas Past; Sarah Phillips is Character Woman/Fezziwig; Kathryn Tyrone is Ingenue/Belle, and Sarah Trimble is a Caroler.

    Assistant Director James Warila also plays a Clown. Krystle Conrad is the “real” stage manager and Cindy Harris is the assistant Stage Manager.

    The show will run Tuesday-Saturday, Nov. 27-Dec. 1.

    The South Campus will present The Wiz, a play based on The Wizard of OZ.

    The play is directed by Patty McCormick and features a fairly large cast.

    D’Arcy Monday is Dorothy; Toasha Odear is Auntie Em; Ty King is Uncle Henry; Veronica Gross is Addaperle; Djemal Burris is the Scarecrow; Michael Wilborn is the Tin Man, and Allen Randall is the Cowardly Lion.

    Also, Art Thompson is The Gate Keeper; Shannon Sackett is The Wiz; Gina Monday is Evillene; Ty King is the Lord High Underling; Christopher Reaves is a Winged Monkey, and Amanda Kinnard as Glinda.

    Toasha Odear, Amy Rue, Amy Kubes, Erica Holloway, Jennifer Lush, La Shada Jackson, Myrtis Tate, Laura Hemadi, Bethany Bundock, Debbie Ponder, Aricka Williams, Candice Ratliff, Jose “AJ” Rivera and Chris Niedzwiecki will portray Winkies, Field Mice, Winged Monkeys, Emerald City Citizens, Tornadoes, Munchkins, and the Yellow Brick Road.

    The show runs Wednesday-Saturday, Nov. 28-Dec. 1.

    The NW Campus will present Larry Shue’s The Nerd Thursday-Sunday, Nov. 29-Dec. 2.
