Theater plans auditions

    Open auditions will be held for Pocket Sandwich Theatre’s first comedy-spoof in 2003.

   The GodMudda—A Mafia Fairy Tale is a brand new audience-participation, popcorn-tossing comedy-melodrama. The play is a comic take on the Godfather movies as well as the Cinderella fairy tale.

   Roles needed in the audition include five women and seven men, early 20s to mid-60s.

   The show will open with a special New Year’s Eve performance and will run thereafter Thursday-Sunday through Feb. 15.

   Auditions will be held Sunday at the Contemporary Theatre of Dallas from noon till 4 p.m. and Monday evening, 7-10 p.m.
