Program to honor students in classes

    The NE Campus Service Learning Program will recognize students and agencies tonight with a reception and ceremony.

   The reception is at 6:30 p.m. in the Center Corner of the Student Center. Certificates of recognition will be presented to more than 300 students and 20 agencies.

   Students worked with agencies from within the community to help improve job skills.

   Classes participated in service learning. Students were asked to consider the course objectives and requirements as well as course and career goals for each class project.

   The Service Learning Program, offered by career and employment services, prepares students for careers.
