Letters to editor
Dear Editor,
As a Christian, I am opposed to the viewpoints expressed in places like Hell House, which Michael Kraft discussed in his article.
I believe that religion should focus on Gods love, grace, and forgiveness, not try to scare people into believing.
I wasnt surprised by Michael Krafts opinion.
However, I was surprised to learn that Hell House was being sponsored by a First Presbyterian at Cedar Hill.
As chair of the Worship Committee of Cedar Hill Presbyterian, I can assure you that: 1. There is no First Presbyterian at Cedar Hill; and 2. Cedar Hill Presbyterian has absolutely nothing to do with Hell House.
I believe Hell House is sponsored by another church in the area, but not Cedar Hill Presbyterian.
Sincerely,

~~ Correction ~~
In the Oct. 24 issue, Michael Krafts viewpoint on Halloween Haunted houses incorrectly identified the church that sponsored Hell House.
The actual sponsor was Trinity Church of Assemblies of God in Cedar Hill, and not Cedar Hill Presbyterian Church.
The Collegian would like to apologize to its readers and to Cedar Hill Presbyterian Church for any confusion, inconvenience or embarrassment caused by this mistake.
