    Dear Editor,

    In response to Election results leave hopes dim for future (in your column Don't Tread on Me), of all the political articles that have been published in Texas newspapers, Time magazine, etc., yours is the finest.

    You took the words right out of my mouth and many others.

    I am a senior citizen, and I picked up The Collegian Jan. 24, 2001, as I was early for my aquatic exercise class at the South Campus.

    I give you my Bravo award.

    It would be wonderful if your future held a great political position.

    I hope I am not around to see the devastation that Bush puts the USA in, but I am afraid I will be, God willing, and may all of us.

    We shall over come.
