Holiday market to aid community charities

With Christmas two months away, holiday shoppers can get an early start while helping to raise money for local charities.
The 23rd Annual Chi Omega Christmas Market will be Thursday, Nov. 9, to Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Dallas Convention Center.
Featuring all kinds of high quality gifts for everyone, the Christmas Market has raised over $2.7 million to give back to the community over the past two decades.
The Market has also donated $190,000 to nine beneficiaries this year. The funds come from ticket sales, merchant booth fees and other donations.
A Preview Party and Silent Auction Market to honor Market contributors and sponsors Wednesday, Nov. 8, will start the Chi Omega Christmas. Tickets are $75 to attend this party.
General admission tickets are $8 per person ($10 at the door). Market hours include the following: 1-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9; 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10; and 9:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11.
