Modern to open lecture series

    The Modern Art Museum has set new dates for a lecture series to begin Tuesday, Feb. 12.

   Tuesday Evenings at the Modern lecture series will feature a showcase of architects, artists and curators.

   Richard Gluckman of Gluckman Mayner Architects will be the first guest speaker.

   In addition to the series, visitors can view the Museum for a New Millennium exhibit showing buildings, concepts and projects.

   Visitors can expect to hear discussions about architecture, art and space.

   These events are gearing up for the opening of the newly constructed Modern Art Museum, designed by Tadao Ando.

   The free lecture series is open to the public and scheduled for 7-8 p.m.

   After the lecture, visitors can view the galleries until 9 p.m.

   The weekly series will end Tuesday, April 9.
