South Campus
South Campus student activities will sponsor a Juneteenth cookout.
Students can purchase a hamburger, chips and a drink for $1. There will be music and some literature available that explores the history of Juneteenth.
The cookout will be held today, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on the SUB Patio.

South Campus Police Department is closed for remodeling. Parking permits and other police services are being handled through the business office.
We are still here; we just dont want students coming through the construction zone, Sgt. F. L. McGowen of the TCC police department said.
The office, including a new reception area, will reopen in late June.
SE Campus
SE Campus will be at Arlingtons Fourth of July parade, which begins at 9 a.m. Anyone is welcome to participate. Interested students should go to the parking lot at Cooper and Mitchell by the University of Texas at Arlington at 7:30 a.m.
A free breakfast will be served, and during the parade, participants can ride in golf carts rather than walk. For more information call 817-515-3595.
NE Campus
Ten NE Campus drama students are currently in the Hip Pocket Theatre production of Preview for the Spacefleet Landing on Earth in 2001 A.D. by Uriel, Cosmic Visionary. The show runs Friday-Sundays through June 30. Adam Dapkus, Tonya Stapleton and James Warila were recently featured on the front page of Startime in the Star-Telegram promoting the show.

Derek Whitener and Stephen Levall, NE drama students, will perform in Theatre Arlingtons Les Liaisons Dangereuse, which opens tomorrow and runs through July 14, Thursdays through Sundays.

NE student Josh Colson is working with an extras agency this summer. He recently was featured in an HBO film about football.

Jakie Cabe, assistant professor of drama, is one of three actors performing at Stage West through July 7. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) is a comedy that proclaims to cover the bards entire oeuvre.

Renee West, adjunct photography teacher, and Fort Worth Classical Guitar Society, featuring Jan Ryberg, adjunct guitar teacher, were named best female vocalist and best classical by Fort Worth Weekly.
