South Campus

   The career center is presenting a seminar about finding jobs through the Internet. Searching the Web for Career-Related Web Sites will be 11 a.m.-noon Thursday, Nov. 21, in the SUB Forum Room.

   Consumer Credit Counseling Services will present a seminar on student finances and budgeting. Show Me The Money, sponsored by the counseling center, will be 11 a.m.-12:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, in the SUB Texas Room.

   The Canned Food Drive continues through Friday, Nov. 22. Collection boxes are located in the ADM counseling lobby, SUB 152 (student activities office), MTH 169, SCI 137, ACB 167, BUS 101, FAC 103, LRC lobby and the Bookstore. Student activities and the TCC South Campus Interclub Council sponsor the food drive.

   Tarrant County College Computer User Group will meet Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1-4 p.m. in the South Campus SUB Living Room. Ben Head will talk about digital photography.

SE Campus

   SE Campus’ Black Legacy student group will sponsor Open Mic Night, a poetry reading, 7:30-10:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, in the North Ballroom. The theme is Ego-Trippin’. No profanity or nudity is permitted. Everyone is invited to watch or participate. For more information, call 817-455-5655.

   The Giving Tree on SE Campus was established to promote students and faculty’s giving presents for children at the upcoming Arlington Life Shelter Dinner. Presents are needed for all ages and genders. For more information, call student services at 817-515-3595.

NW Campus

   Resa Shipman, guest lecturer, will present Fruits of the Earth: A Native American Harvest today, 10-11 a.m. in B118 E. The event also includes Native American dance, music and art.

NE Campus

   A campus-wide fall food drive, conducted by the NE Professional Support Staff Association and Faculty Association will be through Nov. 24. Boxes are available in campus buildings. All food collected will be given to the Tarrant Area food bank.

   Health services is sponsoring a health fair 9 a.m-2 p.m. today in the Student Center’s Center Corner. Events include a blood drive, bone marrow donor program, flu shots and various free screenings.
