SE adds new courses

     Health and physical education (HPER) on SE Campus will offer three new courses for the spring semester.
     The courses are aimed at students who plan to become personal trainers, exercise technicians, fitness instructors or aerobic instructors, Dr. David Williams, department chair for health and physical education, said.
     Exercise Science will be MWF, 10:10–11:05 a.m. The three-hour lecture class will focus on physiology and the human body. Students who want to become personal trainers are encouraged to enroll.
     Fitness and Exercise Testing will met TTH, 12:30–1:50 p.m. with lab 2–3:20 p.m. This hands-on course focuses on measuring human strength and recognizing the importance of fitness.
     Recreational Sports is scheduled for TTH, 12:30–1:50 p.m. The course will offer different sports every two weeks.
