Scholarships offered to PTK at Commerce
Phi Theta Kappa students at Tarrant County College can receive scholarships from Texas A&M University-Commerce for the 2001 spring semester.
Students who qualify will receive $500 per semester renewable for four semesters. Residential Housing Scholarships valued at $1,000 per year for two years are also available.
The scholarships are also renewable for the for the students second year of studies at A&M Commerce.
To qualify for the Phi Theta Kappa scholarships, students must have at least a 3.25 grade point average, have 45 semester hours and enroll in 15 semester hours per semester while attending the university.
The deadline for applying for this years spring scholarships is Friday, Dec. 1.
Competitive financial aid packets for eligible students as well as scholarships in academic departments may also be awarded.
