Osbourne mixes heavy metal with exploration of boob tube

Ozzy Osbourne has done it again, and this time millions of people are watching.

Osbourne, once known as the heavy metal star who was a bit morbid, has reinvented himself with his new reality-based TV show, The Osbournes.
MTV’s new smash hit features Ozzy, his wife-manager Sharon and their two children Kelly and Jack.

The unscripted cable TV show reveals the Osbournes unusual lifestyles as they display what it’s really like to be an Osbourne.

Since The Osbournes’ debut, the Tuesday night program averages six million viewers per episode, making it one of the top shows on cable TV.

The polls indicate that countless fans are becoming increasingly interested in the Osbournes’ unusual lifestyles.

This program is undoubtedly very different than the standard family sitcom we have all become accustomed to.

According to Entertainment-E!, the episode that features Ozzy stumbling backward from his director’s chair pulled in 7.1 million viewers, the largest audience yet for a show that’s become MTV’s biggest success to date.

Those who have tuned in have witnessed everything from Osbourne’s tormenting the family’s dog, Lola, with a leather look-alike to reprimanding his teenage children about their late night partying habits.

One of our most vivid memories of the Osbournes will certainly include Ozzy’s wife Sharon and their 16-year-old son Jack arguing with their folk song-singing neighbors.

Who would have ever guessed we would see Mrs. Osbourne tossing bagels and whole baked hams over their fence in order to quiet the neighbors?

As millions sat splitting at the seams from laughter, the cops show up at Ozzy’s mansion to settle the dispute.

One can only imagine what was going through the officers’ minds when they talked it over with Ozzy.

Only time will tell whether The Osbournes will agree to be renewed for another season.

For now, the Osbournes are working diligently with other music deals.

Sharon has asked her pink-haired daughter, Kelly, to record a cover of Madonna’s Papa Don’t Preach with the rock band Incubus.

Jack is producing the song, and it will be used as the soundtrack to The Osbournes.

The family-made soundtrack is due out in May. And with the Osbournes name on it, it is sure to be a hit.
