Digital theme of photo show

    Art enthusiasts can stimulate the imagination and engage in conversation within the mind at Texas Woman’s University’s art and lecture show featuring a Florida digital photography artist.

   Maggie Taylor’s works have been featured in New York City subway systems, the Fogg Art Museum at Harvard University, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston and the Museet for Fotokunst in Odense, Denmark.

   Taylor has been featured in more than a hundred solo and group exhibitions in the United States, England, Austria and Brazil since 1987.

   Taylor’s public lecture is Monday, Feb. 18, at 1 p.m. in the West Fine Arts Gallery, and her exhibit Mythical Dreamscapes will be on display through Friday, Feb. 22.

   The West Fine Arts Gallery is in TWU’s Visual Arts Building at Texas and Oakland streets in Denton.

   Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday.
