Pocket presenting Possum play

Hip Pocket Theatre will celebrate its 25th season of operation with a children’s classic, Unc’ Billy Possum.

Unc’ Billy (Virgil Phelps) is joined by Old Mother West Wind (Peggy Bott), Granny Fox (Dena Brinkley Phillips, and Drummer the Woodpecker (Dick Harris).

The play is by Thornton W. Burgess and directed by Johnny Simons.

Performances are staged every Friday-Sunday at 8:15 p.m.with live music around an open campfire .

Ticket prices are adults, $12; seniors or students, $10; children 12 and under, $8. Sunday tickets are $2 less.

The adventures run through Saturday, Oct. 27.

Hip Pocket Theatre is located on the west side of Fort Worth at 1620 Las Vegas Trail northwest of Loop 820.
