PTK sponsoring taste tests
Free food is available for willing participants in Phi Theta Kappas (PTK) Taste Test on SE Campus, Tuesday, Sept. 24.
Anyone who comes gets 45 minutes of free food, Molly Wolfenberger, SE PTK president, said.
The food will include products not yet on the market. Participants can eat them and give their feedback to the manufacturers, Wolfenberger said.
Taste Test sessions are 10:20 a.m., 10:55 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:10 p.m., 2 p.m., 2:35 p.m., 3:10 p.m. and 3:50 p.m.
Participants must be able to eat salt and not be diabetic.
All ages between 13 and 65 may participate; those 13-17 must have a guardian complete a permission slip.
The Taste Test is a fund-raiser for the honor society, a non-profit organization.
The group will use the funds to send students on educational trips around the country and bring back information pertaining to scholarships, campus life and ways to better the community, Wolfenberger said.
