Emergency Relief Efforts

   American Red Cross is taking blood donations and money donations for the victims in New York. To give blood, call 1-800-GIVE-LIFE, and to make a donation, call 1-800-HELP-NOW.

   The United Way is accepting contributions for victims of the attack and their families and to provide immediate support to established emergency assistance agencies. To make a donation, call 212-251-4035.

   The Salvation Army is asking for monetary donations so that Salvation Army personnel near ground zero can purchase the items needed in the appropriate quantities.

   There are three ways to donate money to the Salvation Army. To donate by phone, call 1-800-725-2769. To make a donation online, visit the group’s website at www.SalvationArmy Texas.org.

   Or mail checks to The Salvation Army, 6500 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75235. Mark checks “Salvation Army disaster Fund.”
