Monster to Frankly scare folks
A chilly adaptation of the Mary Shelley classic Frankenstein will be performed with free snacks at Stage West Halloween night through Sunday, Dec. 1.
Neal Bells Monster presents Victor Frankenstein, a man full of arrogant youth. In flashbacks, the audience will see how he came to where he is now.
Being the elder child of unconventional parents, he is driven to know the nature of being alive.
Victor brings his stitched-together creation to life and causes him to have great pain.
Victor abandons his monster in a mountain forest thinking the monster will die and be free, but the monster lives.
Bell creates a spare and witty dialogue with a contemporary edge for the monster.
Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays. For tickets and prices, call 817-784-9378.
