Musical tribute closes season
South Campus closed its theatre season with a tribute to the past 10 years of Broadway musical productions performed in the Joe B. Rushing Center.
The revue, 10 Years at Dr. Joes, was performed by the Music Theatre Workshop class directed by Patty McCormick.
Taylor Bradford, La Shada Jackson, Laura Hemadi, Emily Dohrity, Veronica Gross, Amy Rue and Michael Wilborn performed numbers from My Fair Lady, Cabaret and The Sound of Music. Dr. Joes also featured production numbers performed by guest alumni.
DArcy Monday performed Home from The Wiz while Gina Monday sang Climb Every Mountain from The Sound of Music and Youll Never Walk Alone from Carousel. Scott Hardgrove sang If Ever I Would Leave You from Camelot and Why Should I Wake Up from Cabaret.
Other numbers were from Hello Dolly!, Into the Woods and Little Mary Sunshine.
