TCC enrollment grows

    The official enrollment numbers are in for TCC, and enrollment is up again.

    As of the official 12th day of record, 28,862 students are enrolled districtwide. That is an increase of 1,955 from last year’s official total of 26,907.

    NE Campus had the largest increase with 807 more students than last year’s 9,399. That brings NE Campus’ total enrollment to 10,206.

    SE Campus had the next largest increase with 7,857. That figure is up 536 students from last year’s 7,321.

    NW Campus had the largest percentage increase. Their students totaled 4,777 for an increase of 503 from last year’s 4,724.

    And South Campus had 7,411 students for a 293 increase from the previous year’s 7,118.

    TCC’s record enrollment appears to be part of a trend in U.S. colleges and universities .
