V—vaccines very veiled
by KC Jones, feature editor

To V, or not to V, that is the question.

Scientists in immunology and virology believe vaccines are the greatest prevention success of modern medicine.

Others are not so comfortable with inoculating.

It is hard to argue with pro-vaccine activists since the U.S. government supports the requirement for school children to be inoculated against many diseases.

Modern medicine contributes vaccines to the successful elimination of deadly illness.

Vaccines in the immune system are reminiscent of secret agents in war. The vaccine contains enemy identification information that is introduced to the immune system usually via injection. The body responds with antibodies to detect and bind themselves to the pathogens.

Sometimes the antibodies need reinforcement to uncloak pathogens that disguise themselves with special proteins called antigens. Macrophages and dendritic cells strip away the pathogens’ protective protein leaving them venerable for annihilation.

Helper T cells secrete hormones called cytokines, which signal the immune system to step up the defenses calling on white blood cells to digest the antigens.

If necessary, the lymph nodes get involved by building more antibodies, specifically to bind to the camouflaged invaders.

To step up the attack, killer T cells administer lethal toxin to destroy pathogens camouflaged by antigens. As a last resort, natural killer cells flood infected cells with toxins and enzymes.

The vaccine exposes the acquired immune system to virus or bacterium, giving it time to learn how to conquer the invaders. But many people are concerned that children are given the infection concoction before their immune system is capable of defending the body.

Dr. Joseph Mercola of the Optimal wellness Center in Chicago explains that the vaccine actually suppresses our immunity.

“Normally, the pathogen enters the body in the nasal passages where while blood cells respond and inactivate the invaders before entering the body,” he said.

Therefore, the advanced part of the immune system is using vital, limited resources to fight vaccine-introduced pathogens that it may never actually encounter naturally.

Mercola has also observed that vaccinated children suffer more colds and ear infections than unvaccinated children. He believes that unvaccinated children stand a much better chance at avoiding disease because their immune system has not been tampered with.

Dr. Scott Wallis of Hurst recalls reading a report about doctors regarding whether they vaccinated their own children.

“About 10 years ago, there was a survey of California doctors that found 74 percent did not vaccinate their own children because they had seen what it could do,” he said.

Mercola feels very strongly about the dangers of vaccinating.

“Vaccines are the greatest farce ever placed upon a civilized community. But let’s not forget they are very profitable, and their profit is in keeping people sick,” he said.

For an extensive list of Mercola’s supportive information, see http://www.mercola.com/article/vaccines/references.htm.

Research shows vaccines to be harmful to the body. They contain toxic ingredients that can weaken the immune system and cause illness, lasting damage or death.

Health department statistics nationwide show that many of the people contracting dangerous diseases are acquiring them from the very vaccines that are supposed to prevent them.

Modern medicine continues to try and protect us from disease, but who is going to protect us from modern medicine?
