    NW Campus will present its students’ creations at the 26 th annual NW Visual Arts Student Exhibit from Tuesday, April 10,-Wednesday, May 2.

    Edwardo Aguilar, associate professor and director of visual arts and the visual arts gallery, said the competition is an end-of-the-year event for fall and spring students. The art faculty votes on winners.

    There are two categories with first, second and third place awards given. Six to 10 honorable mentions will also be selected.

    The two-dimensional category will demonstrate drawing, painting and design skills. The three-dimensional category showcases the mediums of sculpture and ceramics.

    The first and second place winners of both categories will have the their art displayed in the NW Visual Arts Gallery next following year.

    Winners will be announced at the awards reception, Wednesday, April 11, 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
