Workshops aid students
The NW counseling department will continue its Personal Enrichment series with four workshops.
Dr. Patrick Foley will present To Seek the Truth of History: Essential for the Student Monday, Feb. 18, at 12:30 p.m. in C-112.
Reta Fretwell will present Testing and Study Skills on Wednesday, Feb. 19, at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in C-112. She will review effective test taking skills and study strategies.
For the students with relationship questions, Dr. Shelly Cavin will present Power, Attraction, Seduction. She will ask questions such as What power do you have in relationships? What seduces you? and How do your personality traits influence your relationships? Students can find these answers on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in C-112.
For health-conscious students, Glenda Redeemer, campus nurse, will discuss Nutrition and Educational Success. The session will look at the importance of diet in a scholastic setting, Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in C-112.
