Writing workshop set

    Writing from the Right Side of the Brain, and all-day workshop, is scheduled Saturday, April 27.

   Jane Baud, an award-winning author, will conduct the workshop 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Arlington.

   Baud has published Hector Saves the Moon, Texas Blooms, The Summer the Dolls Toured Europe and Journey of the Third Seed.

   The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), an organization for people interested in children’s literature, is sponsoring the workshop.

   Admission is $5 for non-SCBWI members.
