The T eases way for light viewing

    The Fort Worth Transportation Authority will hold its annual holiday lights tour this weekend. The T will tour downtown Fort Worth and other nearby lighting displays.

   In addition to the 90-minute bus ride, riders will receive refreshments, entertainment and photo opportunities with Santa.

   The buses will load at the Intermodal Transportation Center at Ninth and Jones streets. Cost for the ride will be $5 per person and free for children 5 and under.

   The hours for the event on Friday are 6-7:30 p.m. for scheduled entertainment and refreshments. The bus tours will begin at 7 p.m., and the last bus will load at 7:30 p.m.

   Special attractions on Friday will include autograph signings from Dallas Sidekicks soccer players and a live remote broadcast from radio station KLTY.

   On Saturday and Sunday, refreshments and entertainment are 5:30-7 p.m., and the buses will load at 6:30 p.m. with the last bus leaving at 7 p.m.

   Radio station KSCS will broadcast live on Saturday. On Sunday, Radio Disney will bring characters from Toy Story and will provide music, prizes and other entertainment.
