Christmas with a western flair

    The Fort Worth Stockyards is celebrating Christmas with entertainment each weekend.

   Christmas in the Stockyards will be 10 a.m.–8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. This event will include activities involving a tree lighting ceremony, entertainment, a parade and visits with Santa Claus.

   Santa Claus will visit the Stockyards 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on Saturdays, December 7, 14 and 21.

   Stockyards Station, located in the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, is a section of Fort Worth reminiscent of the old west.

   The area contains western shops, indoor and outdoor facilities for entertainment, restaurants and the new Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame.
