Today-Feb. 12 Schema-A Drawing Show is on exhibit in the Carillon Gallery on South Campus. Artists include Anne Allen, Brenda Chambers, Tom Delaney and Pamela Mahaffey. The gallery is open during normal campus operating hours.

Today-Feb. 15 NW Campus Visual Arts Department presents Passages, an exhibit of recent photographic work by Lee Carmichael in the Lakeview Gallery. See story and photograph at right.

Today-Feb.15 The GodMudda-A Mafia Fairy Tale, a comedy-spoof of the Godfather movies written by Mario Puzo, is at Dallas' Pocket Sandwich Theatre. Food service begins at 6:30 p.m. Performance begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10. For more information, call the theater at 214-821-4643.

Today-Feb. 16 Bus Stop, is showing at Theatre Arlington. The American classic combines a mix of characters, a mid-life crisis, romances and enduring friendships. The play was made famous by a movie starring Marilyn Monroe. Performances are Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are $14 to $16. Today-Feb. 22 The Kiss at City Hall is a modern romantic comedy playing at Circle Theatre in Sundance Square. Show times are Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 4 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Tickets range from $15 to $25 for the R-rated show. Call 817-877-3040 for more information.

Today-Feb. 23 Brother Mac, a restyled version of Shakespeare's Macbeth, is showing at Jubilee Theatre in downtown Fort Worth. This time the scene is the radical 1960s in the United States with the classic characters recast as figures in the Black Power movement. Performances are 8:15 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3:15 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are available at 817-338-4411.

Feb. 13-23 The University of Texas-Dallas presents Baby-The Musical. The story of three expectant couples in different stages of their lives will be in the University Theatre 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Call 972-883-2982 for ticket information and performance schedule.

Feb. 14-March 1 A down-on-his-luck Baron is marrying his daughter to a Count for financial reasons in The Spectre Bridegroom at Lyric Stage, Dupree Theatre. The only problem is the Count turns out to be a ghost. Peformances are Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Call 972-525-ARTS for ticket prices and reservations.

Feb. 14-March 15 The Contemporary Theatre of Dallas presents The Last Night of Ballyhoo. The comedy tells the story of anti-Semitism and disassociated Jews trying to assimilate into the culture of southern Christianity in 1939 Atlanta. The Frietags apparently are more concerned with who is going to Ballyhoo, the season's social event, than with the events taking place in Europe. Performances are 8 p.m. Thursday-Saturday with 2 p.m. shows Sunday, Feb. 23, and Sunday, March 2. Tickets are $18 with discounts available for students and seniors. Call 817-828-0094 for tickets.

Feb. 17-21 The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History joins Lockheed Martin to celebrate National Engineers Week. Lockheed Martin engineers will be at the museum to answer questions and conduct engineering activities 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Visitors can command a remote-controlled blimp through an obstacle course, compete in ZOOM engineering projects and challenge activities or create a full-color, flying F/A-22 paper airplane to take home. Call the museum for other events taking place this month and ticket prices.

Feb. 19-22 Quilters by Molly Newman and Barbara Damashek opens in the C.A. Roberson Theatre on SE Campus. Seven actresses portray the life experiences of various pioneer women and children in a highly theatrical musical format. Tickets are free for TCC students, faculty and staff and $3 for general public. Reservations, which are recommended, may be made at 817-515-4642.

Feb. 21-March 29 Pocket Sandwich Theatre in Dallas presents Everybody Loves Opal by John Patrick. The author of Tea House of the August Moon has written a warm and crazy comedy about the eccentric city-dump-dwelling Opal Kronkie. But the question remains ÒIf everybody loves her, why are they trying to kill her?Ó Shows are Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets are $6-$14. Feb 23 Concerto Antico will perform at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation in Lewisville at 7 p.m. Destination Dresden will feature works by composers who worked or traveled in Dresden during the 18th century. Concerto Antico is an early music ensemble that performs on replicas of instruments from the 17th and 18th centuries. For more information about the free concert, call 972-315-9882.

Feb. 24-March 29 The NW Campus art department is sponsoring an exhibit of the works of Joshua Knight. An artist's reception will be Feb. 26, 1-2 p.m.

Feb. 26-28 The NE drama department will present The Three Sisters, a drama by Anton Chekhov, in the NE Playhouse. Rated PG, the story revolves around a family of four orphaned in the 1800s. Performances are 8 p.m. Admission is free for TCC students, faculty and staff; $3 for general public. For reservations, call the NE Box Office at 817-515-6687.

Feb. 28-April 14 Actor Liam Neeson narrates the Omni Theater's new IMAX film Coral Reef Adventure. This 46-minute film will take viewers to seven different reefs including the Great Barrier Reef and Tavarua in Fiji as well as other sites in the world. The public can view Coral Reef Adventure at the Omni Theater inside the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History in the cultural district of Fort Worth. March 2 Celebrate Texas Independence Day with the Cowtown Opry and actor Barry Corbin. Music begins at 5 p.m. followed by a reenactment of the victory at San Jacinto at 5:30 p.m. A chuckwagon steak dinner cook out begins at 6 p.m. At 7 p.m. The Perils of Sweet Stockyard Sue finds the heroine tied to the Tarrantula Railroad tracks. The $50 tickets help support the Cowtown Opry, a non-profit organization. Call 1-800-580-0620 for reservations by Feb. 28.
