NE counselor to help students learn better
Students can learn to determine their own learning style in Learn How You Learn Best, one of the Student Success Workshops sponsored by NE Campus counseling center. The workshop, presented by Anita Peters, NE Campus counselor, focuses on the different types of learning styles and shows participants how to assess their own personal learning styles. Students will find out what they should do to make their particular style work for them, Peters said. Some students know and are using their learning style, but they are still having difficulties learning, Peters said. In the seminar, Peters will help these students determine what other things could be affecting their success and how those issues could best be addressed. The Learn How You Learn Best workshop is Wednesday, Feb. 12, 12:30-1:50 p.m. in College Hall, CAB 112, on NE Campus. |
