SE to conduct seminar

   In order to prepare students for the Metroplex Area Consortium of Career Centers Job Fair, the SE Campus will conduct free resume and interviewing seminars Wednesday, Feb. 12, in the North Ballroom.

   Help will be provided to assist with format selection, cover letter development, grammar usage, skills inventory and writing accomplishment statements on resumes. Helpful tips for interviewing will also be provided.

   Presenters will discuss general processes for interviewing in conjunction with different types of interviews, positive first impressions, employer and applicant questions and ideas for following up after the interview.

   The resume and interviewing seminars will be held 9-11:15 a.m. and 4-6:15 p.m. Additional resume critiquing will be offered Wednesday, Feb. 19, 8-11:30 a.m., and Thursday, Feb. 20, 2-5 p.m.
