May marks start of plan for recycling

Starting May 1, the TCC district will apply a new recycling policy.

Aluminum, glass, plastic and paper can be placed in the same recycle boxes around campus.

Acceptable items are computer printouts, stationary and letterhead, white business forms, NCR paper, envelopes and paper labels, faxes, junk mail, post-its, print scraps, plain bond paper, tablet sheets, colored and glossy paper, paper clips, rubber bands, notebook paper, aluminum cans, glass and plastic bottles.

Students must empty out cans and bottles and rinse them out before placing them in the recycling bins.
