eLearning extends the reach of TCC beyond the traditional classroom and directly into our community. eLearning administers the myTCC portal and manages all distance education courses offered through the Internet.
eLearning currently offers over 250 college credit courses and a variety of continuing education classes. You can learn in real time, and the distance format makes it easier to fit pursuing higher education in with other responsibilities.
Distance Education State Authorization Statement
TCC offers online educational opportunities to students residing outside the state of Texas. The United States Department of Education (USDOE) requires that institutions comply with any applicable state approval or licensure requirements in each state to which online instruction is delivered. As a result all colleges must be authorized to deliver online instruction prior to allowing students from those states to enroll.
Currently, TCC is not authorized to provide online courses for students residing in the state of Arkansas. If you live in Arkansas, you may not enroll in online courses at TCC at this time.
Students are encouraged to discuss concerns and complaints with College personnel and should expect a timely and appropriate response. When possible, students should first address their concerns through informal conferences with those immediately involved; formal due process is available when informal resolution cannot be achieved. TCC’s process for resolving student complaints is described in the Student HandbookListen.
If an issue cannot be resolved internally, a complaint can be filed with appropriate agency in your state of residence.
