 ************************************************************************ Attention 2008-2009 TCC Scholarship Applicants: The TCC Financial Aid (FA) and Foundation Offices are excited to announce that beginning with the 2008-2009 (Fall '08, Spring '09 & Summer '09) award year, scholarship applicants will be able to apply for scholarships electronically. Our new online scholarship application process will allow students to do the following:

search available FA and Foundation scholarships and view their descriptions

apply for FA and Foundation Scholarships 24 hours a day, seven days a week

save an incomplete application and return to complete it at a later time

provide e-mail addresses for electronic delivery of recommendation letters

automatically match students to all FA and Foundation scholarships they may be eligible to receive

submit one application to apply for FA and Foundation scholarships

Scholarships through the TCC Foundation (TCCF) and Financial Aid Offices (FAO)
- The TCC Foundation Office administers scholarships to TCC students who are pursuing certificates of completion and/or degrees. Scholarships provide deserving students with assistance to continue their education at TCC. Scholarships are created by caring individuals, companies or other foundations who give to TCCF.
TCC Foundation Scholarships are awarded each fall. Applications are due May 31, 2008. Applicants are required to complete the TCC Financial Aid and Foundation Scholarship Application.

Various TCC departments make a variety of scholarship awards available with various award criteria. These awards generally require a specific major. Contact the department of your academic program or see the 2008-2009 Department Scholarship listing below for more information about scholarships they may have available.
Outside/Private Scholarships
Private organizations, including businesses, churches, civic groups and clubs also make scholarships available to individuals. Check with your local library and private organizations to determine whether they may have a scholarship you are eligible to receive.
