OIDI Book Scholarship
The Office of Institutional Diversity and Inclusion (OIDI) recognizes and supports the success of TCC students who, through their unique differences, voices and perspectives, contribute to the inclusive excellence of the College. Since 2016, our office has offered the OIDI Book Scholarship to further promote individuality and student success.
The theme for this academic year’s scholarship has not been announced. Check back in September 2017.
What is the scholarship?
This scholarship is a $500 vendor gift card awarded to one student from each campus every academic year.
Am I eligible?
You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to be eligible.
What are the submission requirements?
You must fill out our scholarship form and answer a question pertaining to the theme. The theme for the 2017–2018 academic year has not been announced. Check back in September 2017.
Responses to the question can be in the form of an essay, digital art, video or PowerPoint presentation. Creativity, originality and breadth of application are a few areas that will be assessed by a committee. All submissions become property of TCC.
If you choose to submit a video, you will need to post the video to YouTube and then include the link on your application. In addition, we will need a hard copy of the video sent to us by November 11, 2016. Please submit hard copies to:

Your essay must be submitted in Microsoft Word format only.
Digital Art Submissions
Digital art must be submitted in PNG or JPG file format, and must be no larger than 10MB.
When is the deadline?
The deadline for the 2017–2018 academic year has not been announced. Check back in September 2017.
