TCC does not have an admissions test.
Aug. 10, 2015 Note: Due to the high volume of testing, our testing centers do not administer the TSI Assessment for non-TCC students during the month of August. Please check with your college for other testing options.
All new-to-college students are required to take a placement test to determine college readiness in reading, writing and mathematics before enrolling in restricted courses.
The TSI Assessment is the state-approved placement test. To satisfy Texas Success Initiative (TSI) and course prerequisite requirements, you must meet or exceed the following minimum passing standards:
