Foundations of Diversity and Inclusion
The intent of this program is to cultivate an inclusive, equitable and collaborative community that embraces diversity. Participants are introduced to fundamentals of diversity, equity, cultural humility and social justice. Facilitators incorporate discussions, group activities and multi-disciplinary theories. Participants are guided through own awareness (cognitive, reflective and reflexive) and receive strategies to effectively engage in a diverse and global society.
Free to Be Me
This session, offered to TCC employees, explores the diversity within TCC and its impact on collaboration and service delivery. Our facilitators provide participants with tools and strategies to work in a multicultural environment.
This program is designed to raise awareness about the dynamics of gender and sexual orientation while exploring different methods to embody inclusive allyship for people of all orientations, genders, sexualities, identities and levels of being out. It also aims to make the college community a safer and more supportive place for people of all sexual orientations, gender identities and gender expressions. Sessions are 3.5 hours and are offered to students and employees. Learn more about the program and how you can sign up for training.
