Advising Appointments for First-Time-in-College Students

All First-Time-In-College (FTIC) students are required to attend New Student Group Advisement (NSGA), as well as New Student Orientation. NSGA gives you a general overview to college studies. Registration for courses is restricted until you complete NSGA.

Topics include:

  • TSI requirements
  • Class schedules
  • Course withdrawals
  • Academic standing
  • Program offerings
  • Available resources

Scheduling NSGA

To schedule NSGA, contact your campus Academic Advising and Counseling Center.

If you need additional assistance after you've completed your NSGA session, you can schedule an individual advisement session by contacting your campus Academic Advising and Counseling Center.
