Global Positioning System (GPS) Camp

• Ages:  Students entering 6th through 9th grades
• Dates:  July 18-21, 2022
• Days:  Monday-Thursday
• Time:  9:00 am to noon
• Location:  Trinity River Campus, 300 Trinity Campus Circle, Fort Worth, TX 76102
• Building/Room:  TREF 7222
• Cost: Free
• Orientation 2022: Orientation will be held on the first day of class. Details will be sent to TCC student emails (@my.tccd.edu).

About GPS

This summer camp aims at making middle school students aware of and excited about the significance of spatial thinking through geospatial technologies. Specifically, students will engage in web mapping and data collection using geospatial applications in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) lab and the field.  Students will engage in interactive, realistic, and fun learning experiences.
