Grades 3-8 Orientation

The responsibilities of college life are covered at orientation. In addition, parents are responsible for signing and returning the orientation policy agreement form contained in the application packet. This form states that parents have read and agree with each policy and procedure. Parents and guardians who fail to sign and return the orientation policy agreement form will not be able to enroll their children in any College for Kids 2019 program.

In-Person Orientation

Students will receive a t-shirt, backpack, water bottle, updated schedule, maps, and other important information.

Orientation will be held on July 1, 2019 at 5 p.m. at the Crowley South Campus Center. Call the South Campus office if you have any questions. 817-515-4392

Orientation is optional for returning students; however it is necessary for all new students. Returning students opting not to attend the orientation will be held accountable for the information shared. If you are unable to attend, you may pick up your orientation packets at the Crowley South Campus Center, beginning July 8, 2019 at 8:00 am. 

Schedule

Crowley South Campus Camp July 8-25, Monday – Thursday

  • Two sessions:
    • Morning Session: 8:30 a.m. – 12:20 p.m.
    • LUNCH: 12:30 p.m. – 1:20 p.m. (students should bring lunch and snacks)
    • Afternoon Session: 1:30 p.m. - 5:20 p.m.

NOTE: No schedule changes will be made after classes begin.

Drop-off and Pick-up Locations

Early Pickup

If your student needs to be picked up before their session ends, they will be waiting at the office. Picture ID is required. For safety purposes, parents are not allowed to pick up students from classrooms. 

Regular Drop-off and Pick-up

Students shall be dropped off and picked up in the parking lots only. Please do not block traffic. Instruct your student to watch carefully while crossing streets, and do not assume all drivers will honor the crosswalks.
