Payment is due at the time of registration. Students will be dropped for non-payment each night.
If you need to pick up your child early during the day you will be required to go through the Community & Industry Education office. If you let the office know in advance we will do our best to have your child waiting for you in the office at the designated time. You will be required to show ID.
Parents are expected to provide daily transportation for students. Students must not arrive on campus any earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of the first class of the day. All students must be picked up promptly at the end of the last class of the day at the designated parking lot(s) used by College for Kids. These parking lots are the only areas that will be staffed by TCC staff and police. Please do not make arrangements to pick up your child in an alternative location.
Students who are not picked up in a timely manner may be dismissed from the program and no refunds will be given.
All College for Kids students are encouraged to get a TCC ID card. They are free and available at any campus copy center. Once your student has been enrolled, just take your student’s schedule and ID number to the copy center and they will take your student’s picture and issue an official TCC ID card.
Inappropriate behavior or discipline problems will result in dismissal from the program. Refunds will not be given. There is a ZERO Tolerance for bullying on campus. If a student leaves campus during class times without permission of the Community & Industry Education Services staff, the student will be immediately dismissed without a refund.
Three Strikes Process:
- Strike One - Instructor makes an attempt to correct the problem
- Strike Two - VP or Director makes an attempt to correct the problem and parent is contacted
- Strike Three - Student is dismissed from the program and parent must pick up child immediately
Note: This procedure may be changed at the discretion of the College.
