Medical Information

Please provide significant health history (i.e. asthma, seizure disorder, diabetes, cardiac problems, allergies especially bee stings, peanuts, etc). If there are no health issues, please write N/A.

Emergency Contacts/Pick-up

Please revise contact list if an emergency contact becomes unavailable or phone numbers change. List only individuals who are 18 and older. Parents/guardians/contacts need to check for calls and voice messages from TCC and promptly return calls.

Early Out Due to Injury or Illness

Proof of identification is required to pick up children. ID must match name of listed contact and will be copied. Please arrive at agreed time or call if delayed. Community Education & Engagement will be notified of an early pick up.


TCC generally does not administer medication to children. We recommend administering medication during non-camp hours or you are welcome to come to campus to give the medication to your student. Asthma inhalers, Epi-Pens, and Diabetic supplies are the only medications under age students may carry on campus.

Please make sure these vital meds are with your student and complete the Medication Administration Authorization FormListen (link will open in a new window). Any other medications in the possession of campers will be confiscated and the parent/guardian notified. If you need to discuss medications or obtain a fax number, please contact your campus health services.

Sick Children

A child who is sick needs to stay home. Indicators are a temp of 100 degrees or higher, vomiting, or diarrhea.

If your child becomes ill or injured during camp, please advise your child to first see a nurse. The nurse will contact you if necessary.

Tired Children

Summer camp can be a long and tiring day especially for those here all day. Students need a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast. If your student cannot eat before class, please send healthy snacks to eat between classes (e.g. cereal in a zip-lock bag, crackers, fruit, juice box, etc.).

Foot Wear

Blisters and rubbing injuries from rigid or plastic sandals and flip-flops are common as are smashed and cut toes. Please have student wear comfortable sneakers and socks for walking the long distances between classes and buildings. Shoes with wheels should be left at home. We do not recommend students wear flip-flops.
