The Criminal Justice Training Center has the capability of providing on-site training to assist the Tarrant County Law Enforcement Community in its training needs.

In-Service Training Schedule

Arrangements can be made to provide training from our existing curricula and our in-service training schedule for your agency or a combined group of agencies. We can also develop a custom program to meet your specific needs.

How to Register for In-Service Training

Returning or Former Students

Please contact the Criminal Justice Training Center to register for a course.

New Students

If you are a new student attending in-service courses for the first time, you must register in 2 places:

  1. Online via our Active Apply admission application
  2. With the Criminal Justice Training Center

Your online application must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled training to ensure the information is received by the Admissions and Registrar Office before the start of classes.

You are:

  • Required to submit an online application only one time.
  • Encouraged to retain your Colleague ID # (this number is provided through the online application process) for all future classes or training.

All questions regarding Active Apply or current registration status should be submitted to the Admissions and Registrar Office at 817-515-4REG.

Criminal Justice Training Center Registration

After you submit the online admission application, you must contact the Criminal Justice Training Center to register for specific courses.
