Time Commitment

  • Full-time program: 9 months
  • All other programs: 16 months

Schedule

Evening Program

Available in the fall semester

  • Start: late August
  • End: December of the following year
  • Enrollment: 24 students

Fire Department Shift Program

Based on fire department shifts A, B or C

Available in the spring semester

  • Start: spring
  • End: May of the following year
  • Schedule: courses meet from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on affected shift days
  • Days: Monday through Thursday
  • Enrollment: 16 students

Full-Time Program

Daytime Program

Available in the spring semester

  • Start: February
  • End: End of October
  • Schedule: Courses meet from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily
  • Days: Monday through Friday
  • Enrollment: 20 students

Cost

This cost estimate is for Tarrant County residents. We have made an effort to identify the current cost of all books and materials as well as estimates for the cost of meals and parking while on clinical rotations.

If you reside outside of Tarrant County, you can expect to pay more in tuition and fees. See Tuition & Fees for details.

Includes certification as an EMT-Intermediate at completion of second semester and paramedic licensure fee. Charge could be as low as $96 if EMT-I and Licensure are not obtained.
