Enhanced Skills Certificate



All Healthcare Leadership classes are delivered online, so you can balance your classes with your work or family schedules.

Plan for 2 courses (3 credit hours each) per fall and spring semester—a total of 12 semester credit hours.

Become a Leader in Your Field

Whether you are currently in a leadership role or planning for future opportunities, our course offerings will help prepare you to lead health care departments.

Our program will introduce you to various methods of leading others regardless of your current field. A diverse team of educators will teach you the current trends in leadership. You will learn to:

  • Work effectively with health professionals from various areas
  • Communicate effectively in verbal and written form
  • Enhance your knowledge of current laws within health care
  • Generate case studies to educate others of current flaws within health care

Special Requirement: Application

Our Healthcare Leadership Program is open enrollment. However, you must meet the program requirements and submit an application.

Am I eligible to enroll?

You must have:

  • An Associate Degree or higher in any of the health sciences or nursing fields.
  • A  minimum GPA of 2.5 in a health sciences or nursing discipline from an accredited institution to apply to our program.
  • Proof of English proficiency If English was not the primary language of your high school.

How to enroll

  1. Apply to TCC
    • Once you are accepted as a student at TCC, you will get a TCC Student ID number.
    • You need a TCC Student ID number to enroll in our Healthcare Leadership Program.
  2. Download and complete the application
  3. Submit by mail or in person your:
    • Signed, complete application
    • Information Session Certificate of Attendance
