Follow These Steps to Apply to MRI

Step 1: Apply to TCC

Apply online with ApplyTCC (use Firefox or Chrome for the best experience)

Once you are accepted as a student at TCC, you will get a TCC Student ID number.

You need a TCC Student ID number for your application to MRI.

Step 2: Attend an Information Session

Find out everything you need to know about our program: requirements, courses, costs, and more.

Attending an information session is an application requirement. You will submit your Certificate of Attendance with your application.

Step 3: Make sure you are eligible to apply

What are the requirements?

Step 4: Get current official transcripts

You will need to submit your official college transcripts from all colleges and schools you have attended to the TCC Admissions and Registrar Office.

If you have not attended college or if you will have fewer than 12 college semester hours by the application deadline, you will need to submit your official high school transcript(s).

International Students

Contact International Admissions (817-515-1570) at least 8 weeks before the application deadline to schedule an appointment if you have international transcripts.

Step 5: Get 2 letters of reference

You must include 2 letters of reference in your application to our MRI Program.

  • 1 personal reference
  • 1 professional reference

Step 6: Write a 1-page essay

Tell us about yourself:

  • What do you want to accomplish with your MRI certificate?
  • What are your career goals?
  • Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?

Step 7: Take an English readiness exam if English is not your first language

If English is not your first language, you will need to take one of the following English readiness exams:

Step 8: Complete the MRI Safety Checklist

Submit this completed form with your application.

Step 9: Submit your application by the deadline

We will not accept late applications.

  2. Be sure to include required supporting materials

    • 2 letters of reference
    • 1-page essay describing your career goals and why you want to enroll in our MRI program
    • Completed TCC MRI Safety Checklist
    • Copy of your current active CPR card
    • Immunization records
    • Information Session Certificate of Attendance
  3. Complete and electronically sign your online application

    We will not accept paper applications.

Step 8: Find out the status of your application

Selected to Continue with an Interview?

You will participate in a formal interview with MRI program faculty.

We will arrange an appointment time for the interview.

Accepted?

You will receive a letter of acceptance into the program.

Declined?

You will receive the general reason for the decision.
